Firestar

Firestar is the leader of Thunderclan. He wasn’t born in the forest though he was born from a kittypet mother and was once a kittypet himself. He came to live in the forest after Bluestar the leader before Firestar came and asked him to come and join the clan. Firestar’s apprentice name was Firepaw and his warrior name was Fireheart. When he was an apprentice his mentor was Bluestar and he did some very courageous things when he was an apprentice and even as a warrior he got into trouble. After the clan found out that Tigerclaw was trying to kill Bluestar he was banished from the clan and my father Firestar became deputy. Tigerclaw couldn’t just stand being the deputy he had to be leader and because of that he was willing to kill Bluestar to get that power. Then Tigerclaw became the leader of Shadowclan, dogs came and where on Thunderclan territory so Tigerstar thought that it would be good to lure the dogs to the Thunderclan camp. So Fireheart thought of a plan ant lured the packs leader right over a steep canyon wall but Tigerstar jumped on him and let the dogs get close enough that Fireheart couldn’t get away. Bluestar showed up just as the dog had locked its teeth around Fireheart’s neck. Bluestar pushed the pack leader off the edge but she went over as well. Fireheart jumped in after her and tried to keep both their heads above the water. Bluestar’s children showed up and helped Fireheart to get her out of the water. That is how Bluestar died and that is how Firestar became the leader of Thunderclan. Eventually Tigerstar was killed and then eventually we had to move away from our territories.

What It's Like To be In Thunderclan!!!

Well Thunderclan is great. I loved becoming a medicine cat apprentice. I knew I wouldn't be able to be a warrior because I loved helping out in the medicine cat den. When one of our clanmates get hurt I would come in and help make them better. When I became medicine cat it was because Cinderpelt died while trying to help friend give birth to her kits. It was during a badger attack and I had left because I was in love with Crowfeather a cat from another Clan, which was against the Warrior Code and another code was that a medicine cat couldn't have a mate or kits of there own. So we ran away, me and him, but we came back because we couldn't stand the guilt that was gnawing at us. When we came back we went straight to my Clan because we found out that badgers were attacking. When I got there my sister Squirrelflight said that my friend was having her kits and that I had to go help. When I went in there was a badger their. We got it out but Cinderpelt was gone. But I have an apprentice of my own now and his name is Jaypaw, he is of my own kin. Jaypaw may be blind but he gets stuff faster than most of us. He gets these visions or dreams when he is awake even though he is blind. It's like he can tell what is going to happen before it happens, and he can go and warn the cat it's going to happen to before it happens. Like one time his brother Lionpaw and another apprentice who was the son of Crowfeather, the cat I ran away with. They were both from Windclan. A old fox den that had become an abandoned badger set had caved in on them. Jaypaw knew what was going to happen and ran. He got there and pulled out his brother he felt him first. Then he started digging for the other apprentice, but Crowfeather showed up and started helping as well. When Jaypaw said he felt him he moved his paws so that Crowfeather could pull him out. I love Jaypaw he is the best thing about being a medicine cat! But when your a medicine cat there can and will always be death. Before that day Jaypaw saved his brother and Crowfeather's son there was a series of whitecolf going around the Clans. Almost all our cats died but luckily none of them did. While I was out getting some catmint also known as catnip, one of our apprentice's breathing started to slow down. Jaypaw knew what was happening and went and laid by her. You know how I told you Jaypaw was special, well you'll find out by this story. When he went and laid by her he closed his eyes, curled around her to where they were laying in the same position and slowed his breathing down to where his and hers matched perfectly. When Jaypaw did that he entered her DREAMS!!! She was running in Starclan's forest. Oh, by the way Jaypaw can see when he's dreaming. Jaypaw caught up to her and told her to come back with him. She kept walking until she reached the moonpool. Spottedleaf the former medicine cat that was the medicine cat when Firestar joined the Clan, came and told Jaypaw that she could go home it wasn't her time to join them, then Jaypaw woke up and Brightheart was standing over them. She said she thought that he was dead because his breathing had stopped. So that is how Jaypaw has a very special gift from Starclan. By the way my name is Leafpool, my sister is Squirrelflight and Jaypaw is her son. We are the daughters of Firestar, Thunderclans leader and Sandstorm is his mate and the best hunter in the forest. Squirrelflight's mate is Brambleclaw and he is deputy. Jaypaw's brother and sister are Lionpaw and Hollypaw. Spottedleaf was the cat that my father had fallen in love with first but he knew it would never work because Spottedleaf was a medicine cat. She got murdered by a Shadowclan warrior called Blackclaw, Shadowclan's deputy who killed her and took our kits. Firepaw, Firestar's name back then and his friend Graypaw went out and brought the the kits back. Bluestar the leader before Firestar, gave each of them their warrior names Firepaw's was Fireheart and Graypaw's was Graystripe. That is how my father and his best friend became warriors of Thunderclan. That's what it is like to be in Thunderclan!!! I have to go and help one of our sick now but thanks for letting me tell you about Thunderclan.
